In Review: The Most Popular Colours
The most popular colours. So many things we could start with but I think we have to highlight one area which makes back-painted glass so special: colour.
The Popular Ones:
50 shades of grey, quite literally. Light and dark grey has always, and in our prediction will always be a popular back-painted colour. Whether it’s the accents in the room it matches well with, or the way the light reacts with the colour making the room light up, grey will always look beautiful in a backsplash or curtain wall setting.
Off-Whites. Do you know the difference between chantilly lace and cloudy white? Cloudy day and white diamond? Your customer will. Off-whites are one of the favourite custom colours we produce. Whatever the setting may be, the tones in different white colours help the room you’re designing come together. Just make sure you know what your off-white colour looks like through the glass.
The Up and Comers:
Bold colours. You know, colours people will notice and pop when you walk into a room. Colours that make a statement. Bright red, yellow, blue and green have all been on the rise. These colours work really well with storefronts, lobbies, conference rooms and other areas you want to attract attention to. These colours will leave people with a permanent impression when used correctly. Be aware that these colours can be fairly translucent. If you are going to use these in a project, make sure you have a backup grey coating to put on the back to help block the light.
